Innisfree Hotels is a hotel company that focuses on management, lender services and development established in 1985. They proudly embrace their motto, 'creating fun, memorable experiences,’ and strive to cultivate innovation and excellence in everything they do. Last spring they made the decision to focus on their refreshing their corporate brand.
After undergoing a rebrand not many years prior, it was important to them to maintain some familiarity with their existing brand, but accepted the fact that the design had already become a bit dated. My primary focus was on retaining the feel of the logo.
Removing the gradient fill and choosing a richer color palette immediately brightened up the logo. A more contemporary font was selected for the logo and I shortened the existing icon to create a mark that would work better on social media platforms.
